Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the AEIPL Portal mobile application and web platform ("Service") operated by Automech Engineering India Pvt. Ltd ("AEIPL", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

The AEIPL Portal is an equipment inspection and compliance certificate management platform that provides:

• Equipment inspection recording and management
• Compliance certificate generation and tracking
• QR code-based certificate verification (available to all users without login)
• Dashboard analytics and reporting
• Multi-role access for inspectors, customers, managers, and administrators

3. Access & User Accounts

Public Access: The QR code certificate verification feature is freely available to all users without requiring an account or login. Anyone can scan a QR code on a certificate to verify its authenticity.

Authenticated Access: The AEIPL Portal does not offer public registration or sign-up. User accounts are provisioned by organization administrators and login credentials are shared directly with authorized personnel via email. Access levels are determined by assigned roles:

• Inspector: Can create inspections and submit compliance certificates
• Customer: Can view certificates associated with their organization
• Manager / Admin: Can oversee all inspection and certification activities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose of equipment inspection and certificate management. You shall not:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other user accounts or system resources
• Submit false or misleading inspection data or certificate information
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the application
• Share your account credentials with unauthorized individuals

5. Inspection Data & Certificates

• Inspection data entered through the Service must be accurate and truthful.
• Compliance certificates generated through the Service are official documents and must reflect actual inspection findings.
• Only authorized inspectors may create and submit inspection certificates.
• Certificate verification data is publicly accessible via QR codes to ensure transparency and trust.
• AEIPL reserves the right to audit inspection records for quality assurance purposes.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, code, and content, is the intellectual property of AEIPL and its technology partners. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AEIPL shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of data due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control
• Service interruptions or downtime for maintenance
• Actions taken based on certificate verification results

8. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time by:

• Using the "Delete Account" option in the app (Profile > Delete Account)
• Visiting our Data Deletion Request page
• Emailing us at support@automechengineers.com

Upon account deletion, your personal data will be removed. Inspection records may be retained as required by regulatory compliance.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain the Service's availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or security reasons with reasonable notice when possible.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if required for security reasons. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra, India.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.
